Spill Prevention and Response Planning
Plans have been developed for variety of sites ranging from marine terminals to log sorts to mining operations and airports. The information is based on site assessments and focuses not only on response organizations and strategies but also on the prevention of releases. Planning reflects the local and historical knowledge that is obtained for a site as well as regulatory requirements and characteristics of the receiving environment. Climate change, sustainability, and First Nations perspectives of resources at risk are very much a part of what Counterspil incorporates into plans.
