Since 1986, I have provided my clients with extensive site-specific recommendations on spill response equipment and materials. The information is based on testing and using countermeasures through successive programs. Terrestrial, coastal, marine situations as well as oil-in-ice and spills into rivers have all been addressed. The challenges of selecting technologies with practical application are presented, reviewed and implemented within realistic expectations. The contents and strategic placement of spill response kits are often clarified.
